Professional Bio:

Jared Sharpe is a Project Director and Social-Emotional Wellness Educator with over a decade of leadership experience, specializing in media creation and communication. Based in Vidalia, GA, Jared is passionate about inspiring, supporting, and serving diverse communities. With a background in creative writing and linguistics, he brings a unique blend of creative vision and authentic communication to his work.

Jared's professional journey includes strategic collaborations with school administrators, behavioral analysts, and counselors to revolutionize behavioral instruction for at-risk students. As the owner of Illuminating Culture, he has designed engaging social and emotional learning curriculum for students and professionals seeking to gain emotional intelligence skill sets. His expertise in media creation encompasses video production, editing, and promotional marketing, which display his ability to craft compelling narratives that resonate with various audiences. Additionally, he published his first science-fiction novel The Revelation: Book I in the Revelation Series in 2021.

In his recent role as Project Director for the HRSA-RCORP Child & Adolescent Behavioral Health Grant in Toombs County, Jared supervised a team of directors to optimize office and clinical services, managed a one-million-dollar annual budget, and established a framework for a culture and values system within the organization. He has also excelled as a Behavior Interventionist and Site Coordinator, where he developed operational structures for federal grants and managed substantial budgets, earning accolades for his outstanding performance.

Jared holds a B.A. in Creative Writing and Linguistics from Georgia Southern University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and received the Roy F. Powell Poetry Award. He is a certified Crisis Prevention Institute Instructor, has completed core training in Motivational Interviewing, and has been professionally trained in restorative practices. 

Outside of his professional life, Jared is an identical twin, an Enneagram 3, and a published Science-Fiction author. He was contestant #281 in Netflix’s "Squid Game: The Challenge." He enjoys reading, writing, dark chocolate, exercising, and engaging in meaningful conversations.
